LIME Caribbean required a complete overhaul of their portal which covered 13 countries with in the Caribbean. The portal needed to reflect their new brand guidelines and improve navigation and content distribution to users of the portal. It also needed to allow the promotion of various promotions on the front page by country.
Using a custom design, we developed a template that met the requirements, in particular around navigation which was extremely difficult on the old portal. We resolved this by using drop down menus and utilizing jQuery framework to deliver the complex content that LIME had for its users.
Traffic to the web site immediately increased on the launch of the new portal. Feedback from users outlined how much easier the portal was to navigation and how easy it was to get to features that were important for their regular use. LIME's business units were also able to start promoting local promotions on their own front pages without worry about non-locals seeing and reacting to them.
